Medication and
Allergies
Medication/Allergies Policy

Todd Academy Junior High will maintain a
first aid kit, which will include, among other
items, ibuprofen and acetaminophen.  Any
other medication for the student that is sent
to school must be in its original package and
labeled with the student’s name and
consumption directions, if these are not
already included on the package.  All
medications should be turned into the
Director or person in charge for storage
during the day.  Students may not keep
medications on their person or in their book
bags.  Inhalers are an exception to this rule.

Any allergies a student has should be brought
to the attention of Todd Academy Junior High
staff.  Any exposure to the allergy’s irritants
will be avoided as much as possible.  If the
student has sever allergies and is required to
carry an Epee Pen on their person, he/she
may do so and one should be provided to the
school for maintenance in the medication lock
box at all times.
