| Computer Policy |

| Computer Policy It is the practice of Todd Academy to have computers available for appropriate classroom usage. Papers, projects and other research will be required for some assignments. Although reasonable care will be used at all times to ensure that inappropriate content is unavailable, it is not possible to guarantee that all content accessed will be proper. Should a breach occur, students are to notify the teacher immediately and the site will be blocked. Students caught exploring inappropriate sites will lose school computer privileges. (Some sites considered inappropriate for general use are: Facebook.com, MySpace. com and any sites containing lewd language, inappropriate pictures or pornographic material or pictures.) Students are also not to use another student’ s password to sign in for any reason. This action will result in some intervention action which could include but is not limited to the loss of computer privileges. For any infraction of these rules the time period the privileges will be revoked will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Punishment will include an assessment of the offense, and the situation in which it occurred. Penalties are at the discretion of the director and the directors' decision is final. If privileges are revoked, parents will be notified. |
